JOB DESCRIPTION & SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
This position will be responsible for operating machinery in the rendering plant and will be based at the Rendering Plant in Colo-l-Suva reporting to the Engineering Supervisor.
The nature of the role Includes:
Ensuring all planned maintenance work is completed on time.
Ensuring all maintenance work carried out is in accordance with EFL standards.
Diagnosing and repairing machine failures within the plant.
Assisting and ensuring efficient and timely upgrade of machinery.
Planning and coordinating daily/weekly tasks with Supervisors.

Join NowA trade certificate or diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
At least 1 year of working experience as an Electrician or Fitter role preferably in an FMCG company.
A valid Electrical Wireman’s license would be an advantage.
Knowledge of PLC and other control systems preferably Allen Bradley PLC and Wonderware Scada System or previous experience in installing machinery and carrying out repair and maintenance.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
A valid group 2, 6 and 9 driving licence would also be an advantage.
