TYRE FITTER – CARPENTERS FIJI PTE LIMITED

JOB DESCRIPTION & SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Carpenters Motors, a division of Carpenters Fiji Pte Limited and a recognized leader in the Motoring Industry in Fiji, is seeking applications from interested candidates for the role of Tyre Fitter to be based at our Carpenters Motors – Tyre Centre in Walubay.

Responsibilities:

Repairing, replacing and fitting vehicle tires and truck tires
Performing seasonal tyre changeovers
Performing tyre diagnostics (e.g. checking tyre condition, pressure and tread depth)
Checking and adjusting wheel balance and rotation
Inflating vehicle tyres
Helping customers to choose products that meet their requirements
Ensure standard safety measures are practiced at all times while operating tyre fitting

Requirements:

At least minimum of 1 year of experience in the field
Basic knowledge and understanding of customer service and needs
Time management and planning skills
Problems-solving skills
Ability to work as part of a team
