RESORT MARINE MECHANIC – PARADISE COVE RESORT

JOB DESCRIPTION & SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Paradise Cove Resort is based in the Yasawa Islands and is part of a larger group including Octopus & Blue Lagoon Beach Resorts.

At Paradise we have a talented team and are looking to enhance this with other individuals who share a passion for tourism and guest satisfaction.

We are looking for suitably qualified applicants for the following role to join our Island team.

Resort Marine Mechanic

Required skills and knowledge:

Excellent Communication skills
Detail-oriented
Organizational skills
Previous experience of at least 5 years in each of the above roles at a senior level
Must have all relevant Trade Certificates
Plumber must have knowledge of Desalinization units, sewerage treatment, general water quality and be able to work independently.
Mechanic must specialize in diesel engines.
All roles require good problem solving skills and adaptability in an island environment.

These roles are Resort Based on a rotation of 24 days on and 8 days off. All meals and transfers to and from the mainland are provided.
