Join NowCafe Vila and Three Pigs, two vibrant and popular establishments in Vanuatu, are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to oversee their operations. As the Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day food and beverage departments of both Cafe Vila and Three Pigs, ensuring exceptional service delivery, maintaining high-quality standards, optimizing profitability, and creating memorable dining experiences for our valued guests.
Responsibilities
Operations Management:
Coordinate and supervise all aspects of the food and beverage departments for Cafe Vila and Three Pigs, including the kitchens, bars, and dining areas.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain efficient service, cleanliness, and hygiene standards in both establishments.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery and cost control for both locations.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Staff Management and Training:
Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise the food and beverage teams for Cafe Vila and Three Pigs, including waitstaff, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
Foster a positive work environment through effective communication, coaching, and performance management.
Provide training and ongoing development opportunities to enhance staff skills, product knowledge, and customer service in both establishments.
Menu Planning and Development:
Collaborate with the culinary teams of Cafe Vila and Three Pigs to create innovative and enticing menus that reflect each establishment’s brand and customer preferences.
Monitor food and beverage trends, conduct market research, and gather customer feedback to continuously improve offerings at both locations.
Ensure accurate pricing, portion control, and cost efficiency while maintaining quality and guest satisfaction.
Customer Service Excellence:
Establish and maintain a culture of exceptional customer service at both Cafe Vila and Three Pigs, ensuring guests receive prompt, friendly, and personalized attention.
Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, addressing concerns and taking appropriate corrective measures.
Foster relationships with regular customers, responding to their preferences, and anticipating their needs at both establishments.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial targets for the food and beverage departments of Cafe Vila and Three Pigs.
Monitor sales, analyze variances, and implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs for both locations.
Conduct regular financial audits, inventory checks, and pricing reviews to maintain profitability in both establishments.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or a similar role in the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, cost control, and quality management.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse workforce.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (knowledge of local languages is a plus).
Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations applicable to the food and beverage industry.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using relevant software applications for inventory management, POS systems, and financial analysis.
Driver’s License
