Reporting to the onshore Financial Controller & offshore Manager, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Team Leader for the Suva Based Office. The Accounts Team Leader is primarily responsible for leading and managing one of our offshore accounts team [Entity: Xelon Technologies] and ensuring all day-to-day tasks related to Accounts Payable, Receivables, and Payroll are performed accurately and timely. Join NowResponsibilities:
· Managing and cross training the Accounts Team and ensuring the team follows the procedures and deadlines.
· Ensuring Bank accounts and credit cards are reconciled.
· Assist in providing information to the general and portfolio managers in relation to receivables, payables, and payroll.
· Assist in end-of-month procedures. This includes:
· Ensuring all AR and AP invoices are recorded timely and accurately at the end of the month.
· Managing and preparing timesheets for payroll processing
· Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties across the group.
· Maintain relationships with suppliers and liaise with them to resolve issues related to payment allocations, credit terms, etc.
Key Results Area (KRA) & Accountabilities
· Manage and lead one of the Accounts Team
· Manage the accounting systems & it’s working knowledge.
· 100% compliance on critical company documentation, to be managed and maintained in the appropriate electronic file.
· Demonstrated commitment, active involvement, and leadership to developing and implementing the IMS (Workplace Health and Safety, Quality, Environment) and continually improving its effectiveness.
· Demonstrated active commitment, involvement, and leadership with respect to the companies Values and Policies.
Position Requirements
· Experience managing teams and training staff.
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, or a related discipline
· A minimum of 2 – 3 years of progressive experience in a finance role. Leadership role will be an advantage.
· Demonstrated expertise in processing bills, client invoices, bank reconciliations.
