EXCAVATOR OPERATOR

Kokomo Private Island Fiji is seeking an experienced and qualified Excavator Operator to be responsible for all Excavator needs! Trained and experienced professional that ensure the smooth and efficient operation of Excavator and to be based on the resort in Kadavu.

Requirements:

· Need to possess years of hands-on experience in handling Excavators.

· Well- versed in excavation techniques, ensuring precise digging, grading, and trenching project.

· Safety driven approach strictly adhere to industry safety standards, implementing robust safety measures to protect both personnel and property. Highest level of caution.

· Time-sensitive nature of construction projects and maximizing productivity without compromising on quality.

· Operator pay meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accurate leveling, excavation depths, and precise placement of materials.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills with colleagues and Guests.

· Awareness of and ability to adhere Health & Safety regulations

· Work experience in the same field

· Valid Driver’s license Class 9 permit

· Any relevant valid safety training certification from a recognized training facilitator will be an added advantage.

· First Aid & Fire Warden Certification is desirable

Duties and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Operating the machinery safely and securely.
Carrying out excavator inspections to ensure good functioning.
Carrying out operations that lift large volumes of material.
· Digging foundation and leveling the ground.

· Ability to operate the excavator tactfully and efficiently.

· To ensure maintenance of all equipment used, keep equipment safe & clean and store in an appropriate location, and report any faults or safety

· To carry out any related duties as and when required
