Accounts Clerk

Description

YPCL is seeking for an Accounts Clerk to carry out bookkeeping and financial tasks. The responsibilities include records keeping, data entry and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accounting and clerical support.
• Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
• Prepare general ledger postings into MYOB.
• Management of Payables and Receivables, including statements reconciliation, processing of disbursements, payment vouchers and receipts of butcher sales.
• Manage Petty Cash float.
• Provide financial assistance and support to company personnel.
• Track accounting or documentation problems and report on any discrepancies.
• Prepare weekly revenue and expense report for management.
• Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable accounting regulations.
• Ensure on the efficient execution of the company’s accounting operations.

Skills Requirement

• Possess Commerce / Business degree or comparative certification.
• Proven 2 years or more accounting experience, preferably Accounts Clerk.
• Familiarity with bookkeeping and well-versed with accounting procedures.
• Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software, preferably MYOB.
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
• Aptitude for numbers, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, Teamwork and Culture sensitive.
• Organized with ability to maintain good record keeping.
• An efficient and effective team player.
• Possess current job knowledge.
