Team Leader Butcher

Description

YPCL is seeking to recruit a Team Leader Butcher to supervise the operation of its butcher with skills of providing high-quality meat services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and Manage the butcher team.
• Coordinate Logistics for meat pickups or deliveries.
• Performing quality inspections on meats and other products.
• Prepare reconciliation of meat stock upon receipt of carcass and after cuts.
• Submit reconciliation on a daily basis to Finance on a timely manner.
• Ensure that the required finance processes are adhered to.
• Keeping records, adherence to budgets, and inventory management.
• Weighing, packaging, pricing, and displaying products.
• Adhering to food safety and sanitation controls.
• High hygiene standard maintained daily.
• Accounting and Safe keeping of butcher tools and Equipment.
• Provide In-house training on meat cuts and butcher processes to butcher staff.

Skills Requirements

• Education on food preparation / meat cutting with more than 5 years of work experience.
• Must possess Leadership and Administrative skills.
• Strong communication, task management, with good customer service skills.
• Knowledge of meat preparation techniques and cuts.
• Ability to use hand tools, stand or walk for extending periods, lift heavy items, and work in cold environments.
• Must be courteous, knowledgeable in butcher, detail oriented, and Culture sensitive.
• An efficient and effective team player.
