We have a vacant position in our Treasury Division for the role of:
CHIEF DEALER

Applications are invited from qualified, dedicated and experienced personnel for this position reporting to the General Manager Treasury and based at Level 3 BSP Life Centre, Suva.

Job Summary
The successful candidate will assist with the Bank’s foreign exchange and money market business within the approved risk appetite and set Treasury limits, balance sheet risk, interest rates risk and liquidity risk.

Responsibilities
1. Manage the foreign exchange, money market and FX income trading operations within set guidelines.
2. Engage with key strategic clients for foreign exchange requirements.
3. Synthesis data and information from Reuters and Bloomberg for currency projections.
4. Ensure compliance of external and internal regulations and risk limits set by Assets & Liabilities Committee.
5. Help maintain the internal control procedures for Treasury.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications
• A University Degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a Senior Dealer role.
• Proven experience in trading room dealing in domestic and foreign exchange markets.
• Ability to maintain relationships and drive initiatives.
• Proven negotiation skills.
• Strong finance and analytical skills.
