Cable Extruder Machine Operator X 6
Dominion Wire & Cables PTE Limited is a manufacturer of PVC Insulated Electric cables and wires based in Ba, Fiji.
The company has an immediate vacancy for 5 years experienced Cable Extruder Machine Operator.

Main Responsibilities

• Will be required to fill out various checklists and department paperwork that is related to quality and production and complete shift paper works as assigned.
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety environment.
• Ensure a clean and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Turn ON all the proper equipment that must be used for the production run.
• Locate the proper Cable Data Sheet for the production run being set up.
• Set up all necessary equipment and tooling throughout the Extrusion process line.
• Adjusting machinery during operation to regulate speed.
• Observes machine to detect malfunctioning
• Checks the wire diameter, length and weight.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience from the Cable manufacturing plant.
• Knowledge of the manufacturing process and machinery associated with Cables.
• Ability to lift weights (required in the tool setups & material feeding).
• Good English communications skills and Computer proficiency.
• Must be flexible for 12-hour night shifts.
