What is the job?
We are looking for passionate people who are charming, confident and internationally minded being our next Assistant Finance Manager at Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa.

A little taste of your day-to-day:
Reporting to the Director of Finance, every day is different, but you’ll mostly:
Using your eye for detail and passion for accuracy you’ll be responsible for all the standard things you’d expect; maintaining control over expenses, income, assets and liability of the Resort.
Using your knowledge, you will also be required to assist with forecasting, budgeting and month-end processes, including monthly reporting preparation and analysis.
In addition to supporting the Director of Finance, you will also liaise with internal and external stakeholders to drive continued improvement in financial performance.
Assist in everyday financial activity and empowering your team to deliver in their roles.
Making sure guest bills are accurate and helping resolve any queries.
Ensuring financial control procedures are ethical and legal.
Preparing financial analysis, forecasts, and budgets – as well as reviewing rates and taking part in sales strategy meetings.
Managing accounts payable to balance cash flow and protect our reputation with our suppliers.
What we expect from you:
You will have a Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Finance or Business Administration related field, with a minimum of 3 years experience in an accounting or auditing field.
Previous experience in a finance role within a hotel or resort environment would be highly regarded.
You will have demonstrated strong financial, analytical and business acumen partnered with proven ability to deliver on set targets.
You will be confident communicator across verbal and written platforms and have ability to work alongside a team and autonomously.
Strategic thinking, the ability to explore new ways of working and an open minded around how we can drive the Resort forward with regards to efficiencies and innovative thinking to deliver unrivalled financial returns will be advantageous.
