Join NowThe Club Attendant plays an integral role to support the well care of the Club InterContinental guest and the wider hotel team, and your day to day will include:
Place and Food Preparation
Assist with receiving and storage of goods
Clean and maintain equipment and premises
Maintain hygienic standards and procedures
Assist with the preparation of functions and service
Assist with cellar operations
Assist with the preparation of an outlet for service including:
Cleaning of equipment
Sorting of stores equipment
Cleaning and maintaining glassware for service
Cleaning and maintain flatware for service
Cleaning and maintain chinaware for service Preparing waiter stations
Preparing buffet service
Preparing service equipment and materials
Assisting with table preparation
Mini Bar duties including:
Filling mini-bar trolleys
Checking used stock against issued stock
Replacement of stock in accordance with mini-bar procedure
Recording of replacement of stock
Billing procedures in line with hotel policy
Ordering of mini-bar items
Storing of mini-bar items
Establishes and maintains effective employee working relationships
Attends and participates in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled
Attends and participates in training sessions as scheduled
Actively informs guests of product options and offering
Always takes a diligent and pro-active approach to guest care and service.
Is personally available to assist any area of the hotel as required if available to do so
All other duties assigned by Club Supervisor
What we need from you
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Experience – you have worked in a similar or Food & beverage role in a hotel property.
Problem solving skills – be able to handle guest issues efficiently and effectively. This includes clear communication, accountability, prompt resolution.
Flexibility – nights, weekends and public holiday shifts are all part of the roleFlexibility – Availability to work shifts across a 7 day roster including weekends and public holidays.
Able to multi-tasks and ability to handle stressful situations.
Detail – a great eye for detail and wanting everything to be placed perfectly in its place.
Class 2 drivers License is a must
