JOB DESCRIPTION & SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Fiji Airways is looking to recruit a passionate individual to fill the role of Graduate Trainee in our Global Sales team. The role involves managing sales contracts, reviewing agent data, and collaborating with departments to support regional sales teams. Responsibilities include contract management, data analysis, project assistance, and coordination of various tasks such as procurement and event planning.

This role is offered on a fixed-term basis for 12 months.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Manage Sales contract register, filing, and contract sign-offs.
Review monthly sales agent data to ensure alignment with Agent Mapping.
Collaborate with other departments to keep regional sales teams apprised of all initiatives.
Serve as the point person for regions for additional assistance required from the corporate office, followed up by department support.
Review, understand, and articulate contract renewal specifications to regions.
Support market research through competitor analysis, data gathering, and analytics using available digital tools.
Assist in the deployment of trade solutions and compile the scope, supporting indirect-related strategies.
Assist in developing indirect marketing plans, including trade publications and GDS, to support indirect sales.
Develop Travel Agent Collateral, including but not limited to flyers, presentations, and advertising tiles.
Support the Global Sales team in executing specific projects.
Assist in the development and coordination of Action Plans and related activities required for the implementation of Global Sales strategies. Implement action plans related to Global Sales initiatives as directed by Senior Manager Global Sales (SMGS).
Support in the coordination and management of relations with external and internal contacts (suppliers, commercial & communications teams).
Support Commercial areas with Purchase Requisitions, Quotations, and other administrative requests.
Support Reservations with registering customer complaints and completing Root Cause Analysis.
Assist with planning sales activations, seminars, and all types of company and sales-related events.

 

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree related to Management, Administration and Marketing.
One year of work experience in Commercial, Administration or Marketing fields.
Good interpersonal and communication skills with a positive can-do attitude.
Knowledge of Statistics.
Demonstrated Numerical skills, interpretation and analysis.
Customer Service oriented.
Advanced expertise with Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of Salesforce and Canva would be an advantage.
