Job Title: Food and Beverage Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the food and beverage department in a hospitality, restaurant, or catering setting. They ensure high-quality customer service, efficient workflow, and compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

– Supervise and manage a team of food and beverage attendants, servers, bartenders, and other F&B personnel
– Create work schedules, assign duties, and monitor employee performance
– Provide training and development opportunities for staff to improve skills and service levels
– Ensure proper food handling, storage, and preparation procedures are followed
– Monitor inventory levels and place orders for food, beverages, and supplies as needed
– Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner
– Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency
– Maintain accurate records of sales, costs, and other financial data
– Collaborate with the kitchen staff, event coordinators, and other departments
– Monitor and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations
– Assist with special events, catering, and other functions as required
– Perform other duties as assigned by management

Required Skills and Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, culinary arts, or a related field
– 2-3 years of experience as a food and beverage manager or supervisor
– Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
– Proficient in inventory management, budgeting, and financial reporting
– Knowledgeable about food and beverage service, preparation, and presentation
– Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
– Certified in food safety, alcohol service, and other relevant industry certifications
– Excellent problem-solving, multitasking, and decision-making abilities
