Job Summary
The Mechanical/Civil Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and oversight of various infrastructure, building, and facility projects. This role requires the ability to apply engineering principles and technical expertise to ensure projects meet all safety, functionality, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and cost analyses for new construction or renovation projects
– Prepare detailed engineering plans, drawings, and specifications for projects
– Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including architects, construction workers, and project managers
– Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
– Perform inspections and testing to evaluate the integrity and performance of structures, systems, and equipment
– Identify and recommend solutions to address engineering challenges or code compliance issues
– Document all technical decisions, calculations, and records related to projects
– Stay up-to-date on the latest engineering codes, standards, and industry best practices
– Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or a related engineering field
– Professional Engineering (P.E.) license or ability to obtain one
– 5+ years of experience in design, construction, or facilities management
– Strong proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, FEA, BIM)
– Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
– Effective communication and collaboration abilities
– Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
– Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
