FREIGHT FORWARDING CLERK – CJ Patel

Key Responsibilities:

• Notify consignees, or customers of freight arrival.
• Preparation/follow up on disputes from clients with relevant authorities.
• Attending to and organizing procedural follow up on third party claims or complaints
• Preparation of business analysis and budgetary reports for management
• Provide strategic logistics for sales, marketing and business development for the capture, maintenance and retention of niche market.
• Follow up with manifest clerk for discrepancies in manifest.
• Attend to agent and consignee queries when required
• Co-ordinate with relevant authorities (Ports, FRCA, BAF, Health, Airlines, etc) to ensure efficient clearance of all import / export shipments.

Qualification and Experience:

• Diploma in Customs or relevant qualification.
• At least 1- 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Exceptional IT skills, especially with spreadsheets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Mature, understanding, and exceptional customer service skills.
• Must be a custom / manifest authorized clerk.
