EXPORT SUPERVISOR – Carpenters Fiji PTE Limited

Job Description & Skills/Qualifications Required

Carpenters Shipping is a well-established shipping & forwarding Agency and heavy transport and logistics business. We are seeking to employ experienced and proactive individuals for the Export Supervisor position to be based in Nadi.

Key Duties:

• Coordinate with customs brokers to facilitate smooth customs clearance processes, including the submission of required documentation and payment of duties and taxes.
• Develop and implement efficient export shipping plans, considering factors such as shipping routes, mode of transport, and delivery timelines.
• Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and other carriers to arrange bookings, track shipments, and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Identify and resolve any shipping problems, such as delays, damages, or customs issues, in a timely and effective manner.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely updates on shipment status, documentation, and any relevant issues.

Requirements: 

• Relevant qualifications.
• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role would be an advantage, however training will be provided
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
