Pepper Advantage Hub Fiji is looking for an enthusiastic Financial Accountant to join our team. Reporting into our Finance Director, LI Capital, you will play a key role in the daily running of the Fund Finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Owning the reporting and analysis process for legal entities.
- Owning the reporting and analysis process for the off -balance sheet fund-related entities.
- Performing analysis and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
- Preparing fi les for external audit review and assisting with annual audits where appropriate.
- Preparing annual statutory accounts.
- Assisting with collation of information for the preparation of VAT Returns and Corporate Tax Returns.
- Administrative duties (including management of the accounts payable for related entities, bank reconciliations and recharge/invoicing processes).
- Assist in ad-hoc projects in relation to Fund entities.
- Monitoring and enforcing financial policies, controls and procedures across the business.
Skills and experience required:
- Candidate needs to be flexible in terms of working hours (Ideally from 8 pm to 4.30 am FJT).
- Qualified accountant
- Experience of working within an accounting or audit role.
- Strong fundamental accounting skills.
- Strong Excel and financial analytical skills including the ability to provide clear, meaningful commentary.
- Strong organizational, planning and interpersonal skills.
- High energy, pragmatic, get-it-done attitude.
- Ability to mentor and influence both within and outside the fi nance team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, efficient and organized.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines.
- Previous experience of working with Netsuite would be good.
