Tokatoka Resort invites applications from qualified and experienced individuals for the following position.

1.      Houseman 

A houseman in a resort is a staff member responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in common areas and assisting the housekeeping team. Their duties typically include:

• Transporting linens, towels, and other supplies to and from rooms or laundry areas.
• Setting up and breaking down event spaces, such as conference rooms or banquet halls.
• Cleaning and maintaining public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
• Assisting housekeeping staff with tasks like moving furniture, delivering amenities, and collecting trash.
• Responding to guest requests for extra items, like cots or towels.

 Attributes

• Maintain a high standard of departmental work practices.
• Commitment to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Oral and written fluency in English
• A team player, self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and be able to work unsupervised.
• Must have a clean police record and be physically fit.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager. 

Basic Qualifications

• Applicant should have at least 2 years’ experience in similar positions, dynamic, hard-working person, disciplined, adaptable and energetic. 
• Certificate from a well-recognised institute
