Vinod Patel Works Pte Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Vinod Patel & Company Pte Limited, specializes in Joinery, Granite, Lift and Escalator Installation and Maintenance, as well as Refurbishment and Fit-Out services. We are looking for a reliable, resilient, safety-conscious team player with strong attention to detail to join our team at Laucala Beach Estate.

FINISHING CARPENTER

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and wood substitutes with precision.
• Install finishing elements such as baseboards, doors, staircases, and cabinetry.
• Ensure high standards of workmanship, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely.
• Inspect completed work for quality and compliance with project requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a finishing carpenter or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and finishing methods.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and carpentry machinery.
• Excellent attention to detail, craftsmanship, and problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• High school Diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship in carpentry preferred.
