POSITION: NATIONAL WAREHOUSE MANAGER
Responsibilities include:
As National Warehouse Manager you are responsible for the operation of Lautoka (2 sites), and compliance responsibility for Suva and Labasa Warehouses, as well as working closely with Purchasing Team & Sales teams to ensure on-time delivery of product to our customers.
Responsibilities include:
• Manage the Warehouse employees for improved productivity through scouting, assigning, training, coaching and controlling their activities.
• Overseeing, receiving, warehousing & distribution operations according to standard operating procedures.
• Implementing operation policies and procedures to achieve warehouse targets, logistics of deadlines and required time-frames for pick-up and delivery and maintain distribution records.
• Develop distribution plan in discussion with sales team, assign vehicles and drivers, and liaise with couriers for on time delivery of goods to the retailers.
• Will re-examine warehousing, order compiling, checking, packing, loading and dispatching of goods and initiate measure to check shrinkage, breakage, spoilage and expiry of goods.
• Facilitating stock takes by ensuring proper stacking and labelling of stock.
• Communicate with Sales & Purchasing teams regarding any back-orders or items that cannot be fulfilled by the required date.
• Ensure implementation of Occupational Health & Safety policies and procedures and other regulatory compliance. Where necessary promptly identify and report safety needs or issues.
• Discuss with Sales Supervisors/Managers in designing the best ways of servicing customers, develop routes for delivery drivers to ensure timely deliveries.

To be considered for interview, the applicant must have;
• 3-5 years proven experience in managing a fast-paced warehouse.
• Proven success in leading a small team.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and drive warehouse improvements nd efficiencies.
• Proven experience in working with warehouse management systems and procedures.
• High attention to detail to ensure accuracy levels are maintained to a high standard.
• Good computer knowledge (especially Microsoft office)
• Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
• A clean valid driver’s license and forklift license – compulsory
Other qualities that will be of advantage:
• Good interpersonal relationships & communication skills
• Previous experience in similar field
• Willingness to learn and to work long hours when required
• A good team player
• Highly motivated, results driven and can work independently with minimum supervision
