COORDINATOR SECURITY QUALITY CONTROL
OVERVIEW
To carry out the primary approval for supporting the Manager Quality Assurance with the maintenance of the Company’s Ground Handling Service
Provider Certificate through the currency, revision, update and upkeep of the mandatory ATS security Programme.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Obtain the annual regulatory approval for the four (4) ATS Security Programmes by assisting in the currency of the corporate security programs in
accordance with the National Civil Aviation Security Program (as amended), with international standards and recommended practices. -
Carry out the annual revision and update of the four (4) Security Programmes after regular security surveys and compilation of respondent reports
and recommendations. -
Execute through constant monitoring the implementation, compliance and deployment of the security programs through an annual security audit
program with testing, observations, survey and auditing. -
Produce and ensure the Audit Programme is completed in time and to the required standards and address and complete all relevant and
applicable audit findings in consultation with MQA. -
Initiate specific security measures during periods of increased risks and threats to flights and/or operations.

Compile and efficiently maintain all audit reports, findings and corrective actions; and records for validation of compliance with requirements of the
aviation security program. -
Monitor and ensure conformance by security providers to required standards.

Investigate and compile reports on security breaches committed within ATS.

Identify and submit to Manager Quality Assurance proposed improvements to corporate security; assist in the execution of approved corporate
security approach, monitor its effectives and provide timely management reports of the ATS security program. -
Maintain an effective professional relationship with the authorities, law enforcement agencies, security service providers, customer airlines
representatives and employees on matters relating to aviation security. -
Conduct investigations on reported non-conformance to security policies and procedures.

Initiate specific security measures and emergency response during periods of increased risks and threats to flights or operations in consultation with
coordinators Security Emergency Response. -
Execution of all approved Emergency responses.

Evaluation of all AVSEC/ASTP training delivered at ATS.

Ensure the safety, security and efficiency of such operations, as well as compliance with the requirements of customer airlines and relevant
authorities. -
Any other duties as assigned by the Department Manager.
KEY REQUIREMENTS

Degree in a relevant discipline, Business or Quality Management with five (5) years related experience OR;
-
Diploma in a relevant field with seven (7) years relevant work experience.

Minimum five (5) years’ experience in Auditing, Planning, Leadership and AVSEC, including a good knowledge of the international regulations
contained in ICAO Annex 17, regional and sound knowledge of the NCASP/NCSTP and its regulations. -
Working knowledge of processes and procedures for the implementation of aviation security measures.

A good knowledge of aviation ground handling operations.

Detailed knowledge of Basic AVSEC 123 Security, STP Management Level 3 and Certificate in Incident and Accident Investigation and AVSEC
experience to sit the CAAF SME SQO exam would be an advantage.
