VACANCY 

Recruitment for Operation Manager

Sinohydro is currently looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and energetic Operation Manager to join our team. The position will be based at the Rewa River Water Supply Project Office and construction site in Naqali, Naitasiri Province, as well as other relevant locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with and manage on-site construction teams.

• Inspect ongoing projects to ensure timely completion as per schedule.

• Regularly check and maintain construction equipment; report malfunctions.

• Supervise work to ensure compliance with the Employer’s Representative’s requirements.

• Organize skills training for local workers to meet on-site needs.

• Communicate with workers and foremen to resolve safety and on-site issues.

• Fulfill tasks assigned by the Manager and additional relevant construction work as required.

Qualification, Knowledge & Skills

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar role.

• In-depth understanding of construction processes, materials, and project management principles.

• Familiarity with quality, health, construction, and safety standards.

• Familiarity with quality and operational health and safety standards.

• Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, both one-on-one and with teams.

• Outstanding time management skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.

• Fluent in both English and Chinese.

• Willingness to work overtime.
