Are you a strategic financial leader ready to make a meaningful impact in a fast-growing business? Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Commercial Manager to join their executive team and oversee the commercial operations of their manufacturing facility. This role involves driving profitability through managing customer relationships, increasing sales penetration and expanding business opportunities, ensuring operational efficiency, effective cost management and optimizing the supply chain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial management within a manufacturing environment, with expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, and team leadership.

The Role:
Reporting directly to the MD and working closely with the board and senior leadership, the Snr. Commercial Manager will be responsible for:

Building and leading a commercial finance function that drives a strong commercial finance mindset and practices across the organization.

Providing strategic financial analysis and governance support to senior leadership, driving performance, managing risk, ensuring regulatory compliance.

Fostering cross-functional collaboration to deliver commercial and operational outcomes.

Lead the development, forecasting, and monitoring of annual and multi-year budgets, aligning with financial goals.

Identifying risks and delivering insights to senior management through stakeholder collaboration and trend analysis.

Develop and maintain a robust financial reporting framework that ensures accurate, timely insights, and analytics.

Support informed decision-making, performance tracking, and cost allocation aligned with the business structure.

Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customers to align production with demand and negotiate contracts.

Drive market share & exports through new markets and partnerships and develop profitable client strategies.

Manage full contract lifecycle by reviewing, negotiating, and ensuring compliance with agreements while resolving any arising disputes.

Drive the identification and implementation of cost-effective process improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure performance targets are met for all departments.

Oversee the end-to-end procurement and implementation process of a new Accounting / ERP system.

Lead and manage a cross-functional team while fostering interdepartmental collaboration and providing leadership, mentoring, and development to commercial staff.

Ensure factory compliance with all regulations while proactively managing commercial risks across supply chains, customer relations, and pricing.
About You:

Commercial Accountant experience at 5 years or more.

Minimum of 5 years in commercial or operational management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Strong experience in supply chain management, sales, procurement and contract negotiations.

Proven track record of driving profitability and cost efficiency in a manufacturing setting.

Strong financial management and budgeting skills.

Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills.

Expertise in operational efficiency and process improvement.

Leadership and team management abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.

Experience preferred in implementing new Accounting / ERP system.
