Carpenters Fiji PTE Limited is one of the largest organizations in the private sector. We are seeking to recruit a result-oriented and enthusiastic Director Retail and Marketing to be based in Suva.

DIRECTOR RETAIL AND MARKETING

Duties of this position include:

• Evolve the current operations partnership; providing additional insight to operations, merchant, visual, and marketing teams.

• Monitor sales trends and forecasts.

• Work with the buying team to comprehend all new merchandise initiatives fully, developing strategies, product launches, and new product evolution.

• Participate in negotiations with suppliers to agree on marketing budget and investments and strategies.

• Motivate, train, coach, and develop to ensure objectives are met.

• Provide leadership to the team to ensure company brand strategies, policies, and sales tactics are understood and implemented.

Requirements:

• Proven Experience in Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance.

• At least fifteen years’ experience in a marketing manager role gained within a commercial business, preferable with retail experience.

• Must possess top-level business management, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.

• Experience in marketing management and strategic planning with a proven track record in developing and administering a marketing program.
