We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee the maintenance, performance, and overall management of our bus fleet. This role is crucial in ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations across all services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day performance and readiness of the entire fleet

• Schedule and coordinate regular servicing, repairs, and inspections

• Work closely with mechanics, workshop teams, and suppliers

• Track vehicle usage, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance records

• Ensure all buses meet safety, compliance, and regulatory standards

• Plan and oversee replacement of tyres, parts, and consumables

• Monitor breakdowns and arrange prompt responses to minimise downtime

• Assist operations team with fleet availability and allocation

• Prepare fleet reports for management

Requirements:

• Experience in fleet or transport management

• Strong technical understanding of vehicle maintenance

• Excellent planning, organisation, and record-keeping skills

• Ability to lead and coordinate workshop teams

• Good communication and problem-solving abilities

• Proficient with basic computer applications and maintenance tracking systems
