MANAGER ELECTRICAL

Position will be based at Vision Investments Limited Head Office, Challenge Plaza – Nasinu.

About the Job

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager Electrical to lead and grow our Whitegoods, Home Appliances, TV & Audio category business. This role is pivotal in driving category performance, enhancing brand presence, and delivering strategic business objectives across retail channels. You will be responsible for overseeing purchasing procedures, managing vendor relationships, and collaborating across departments to execute innovative promotional strategies

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category management plans to boost sales and customer satisfaction
• Lead product sourcing, vendor negotiations, and inventory control
• Strategize and implement marketing campaigns with internal teams
• Guide visual merchandising and ensure brand standards are upheld in-store
• Analyse competitor activities and adjust pricing, positioning, and product range accordingly
• Train sales staff in product knowledge and customer service techniques
• Track financial performance, drive cost savings, and improve procurement efficiency.
• Rationalize product offerings and manage lifecycle of inventory items
• Build new vendor networks and enhance performance of existing suppliers

Requirements

• 5+ year’s experience in category or product management of Whitegoods, Home Appliances, TV & Audio category line items within the retail sector
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Strong skills in time management, planning, and cross-functional collaboration
• Creative thinker with initiative and adaptability in fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation abilities
• Leadership experience with the ability to train and motivate staff
• Results-driven with a passion for optimizing inventory, boosting margins, and elevating customer experiences
