WAREHOUSE CLERKS

 

 

Shop N Save Supermarket is a leading retail business operating supermarkets, restaurants, and bakeries across Fiji. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Clerk, based at our Suva Warehouse.

This position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by maintaining accurate records, supporting stock control, and assisting with day-to-day administrative functions.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Accurately input inventory data and update records for stock, shipments, and deliveries.

  • Record and monitor stock transfers between branches.

  • Assist in preparing stock reports and performing reconciliations for management review.

  • Support the coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely processing.

  • Maintain accurate and organized filing systems (both physical and electronic) for all warehouse documentation.

  • Assist with stock audits and cycle counts to ensure correct inventory levels.

  • Perform general warehouse administrative duties including filing, data entry, preparing delivery notes, and following up on pending orders.

  • Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and logistics providers to resolve discrepancies, delays, or documentation issues.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.

  • Oversee container offloading for the import and export department.

  • Maintain proper container records, including arrival, offloading, and return documentation.

  • Organize staff for container offloading and ensure proper record-keeping of labor and tasks.

  • Prepare and submit regular reports to Head Office.

 

 

Requirements:

 

 

  • Minimum Year 13 pass or equivalent; Certificate or Diploma in Business, Logistics, or related field preferred.

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, or inventory control environment, preferably within the retail industry.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer systems.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
