A full-time position based at the Lautoka Branch responsible for high-level telling and international banking duties, cash management, and mentoring other tellers to ensure effective customer service and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and promote BRED Bank brand and its offers in the targeted market segments.
- Carry out full Telling & International duties with high level of accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist and mentor other Tellers to ensure effective customer service, growth and compliance within the department.
- Perform cash management functions such as ATM and Vault management.
- Ensure that cash management policy is followed at all times.
- Ensure that end of the day process is carried out including the filing of vouchers, dispatch of documents to support departments as and when needed and as per the procedures.
- Ensure that all related fees and charges are appropriately collected and income accounts are reconciled and report is submitted to Branch Manager.
- Achievement of agreed targets and performance standards including business generation through cross selling opportunities and referrals.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of Banking experience in a similar role.
- Certificate, Diploma or Degree qualification in Accounting or Banking & Finance.
- Demonstrated capability for quick learning and progression within the organization.
- Proven computer literacy in Microsoft Office products.
- Pleasant personality, outstanding presentation and good oral communication.
- Ability to handle pressure and work within a team to achieve results.
- Proven record of quality work output.
