Systems Officer – IT provides critical technical support to users across primary sites and various retail and commercial locations, ensuring seamless operation of digital infrastructure and point-of-sales (POS) systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Troubleshooting workstation and network issues and providing first-level support for Windows platforms and in-house applications.
- Retail Operations: Providing 24/7 support for point of sales systems at our retail sites, as well as fuel management systems at commercial sites.
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Responsible for the upkeep of all IT equipment, managing consumables, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Project & Admin Support: Assisting with local and group assigned projects, performing general IT administration, and serving as a backup for the IT Manager.
- HSSE Commitment: Actively reporting near-miss incidents or anomalies using the STOP Card system and adhering to strict IT and HSSE policies.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Diploma in Information Technology or Electronics.
- Proficiency in MS Windows operating environments, MS Office applications, and a strong understanding of LAN & WAN environments.
- Exceptional workstation and network troubleshooting skills combined with strong communication abilities.
- Must have a full and clean driving license and the ability to travel frequently to company sites in Suva, Vuda, Labasa, and Tonga.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
