Graduate Business Start-Up Grant Scheme. The Graduate Business Start-Up Grant Scheme is an education-sector business incubator delivered by FCEF through the Fiji Enterprise Engine (FEE). This programme is designed for graduates with the ambition to turn innovative ideas into viable businesses. It supports aspiring entrepreneurs with innovative, bankable, and scalable business ideas, providing practical tools, mentorship, and funding to move from concept to operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Market research support
- Business training and advisory services
- Coaching and mentoring from experienced practitioners
- Drafting, testing and finalisation of business plans
- Entrepreneurship attachments (with allowance)
- A start-up grant of $5,000, plus linkages to additional funding opportunities
- Product development support
- The opportunity to start and operate a business
- Top-performing incubatees will also receive further support through UNSW Founders and the Global Innovation Foundry Programme.
Requirements
- Be a Fiji citizen
- Be a TSLS-sponsored graduate or final-semester graduating student
- Be under 30 years of age at the time of application
- Be able to commit six months to the programme
