Job Title: General Manager – Lending
Role Purpose:
This executive role is responsible for the strategic leadership, performance and governance of CCFL’s lending business, including frontline sales, credit quality, portfolio growth and customer outcomes. The role is a key contributor to the company’s strategic direction and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership of the Lending function across CCFL.
- Drive sustainable growth in new lending and support deposit growth in line with business targets.
- Contribute to corporate strategy, annual financial planning and sales execution.
- Ensure high-quality credit assessment, lending approvals and portfolio management within risk appetite.
- Lead the development of marketing initiatives, value propositions and customer segmentation strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, business partners and the wider business community.
- Foster a high-performance, values-driven culture through effective leadership, coaching and capability development.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in finance, business administration, or related discipline.
- 10+ years’ senior experience in lending, credit or financial management.
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical and decision-making capability.
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement and relationship-management skills.
- High levels of integrity, professionalism and personal ethics.
- A strong customer focus and the ability to perform in a dynamic, results-driven environment.
