Tropica Island Resort, an adults-only paradise in Fiji’s Mamanuca Islands, has exciting opportunities for passionate professionals with prior work experience in a hotel or island resort setting to join our Island Based Team. Tropica Island Resort is seeking to appoint a Team Leader Spa.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Front Office & Events Manager to maintain treatment quality, smooth guest coordination, optimise revenue, and align with Tropica’s commercial and guest experience goals
- Deliver and oversee spa services-including massages, facials, body treatments, waxing, and nail care-while ensuring personalised guest care
- Ensure guest comfort, safety, and satisfaction by tailoring services to individual needs throughout their spa journey.
- Lead and motivate the Spa Team – fostering professionalism, staff growth, positive guest relations, and oversee the upkeep of facilities, equipment, cleanliness and inventory
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in the spa/wellness industry, including leadership within a spa or hospitality environment; professional qualifications in massage therapy, beauty therapy, or related fields, with a passion for elevating spa offerings.
- Proven leadership experience to mentor and inspire a small dedicated team while fostering professional conduct and redefining our guest service experience.
- Strong organisational, communication, and customer service abilities; with sales focus and attention to detail, ensuring every treatment becomes a memorable highlight of our guests’ stay.
- Previous resort or hotel experience highly regarded; commitment to delivering exceptional treatments while maintaining high standards of hygiene, conduct, and presentation.
