TERMINAL SUPERVISOR – Fiji Gas Ltd

Fiji Gas Pte Ltd is the largest LPG end-to-end solutions provider in Fiji, from cooking to auto fuel, maintenance plans, design and project management of energy solutions. Exciting opportunities are now available for the following positions to be based at Lami. We are seeking candidates who demonstrate leadership and a passion for growing a well-respected brand.

The Terminal Supervisor will be based at the Fiji Gas Terminal in Wailada, Lami and will report to the Terminal Manager. He/she will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of day-to-day terminal operations and for contributing to the achievement of operational KPIs and targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Managing cylinder filling and refurbishing and tanker loading operations;
Managing the work order process for the terminal preventative maintenance;
Carrying out gas stock and cylinder movement reconciliations;
Conducting Incident investigations
Actively reinforcing a strong safety culture within the terminal
Oversight of Terminal housekeeping, maintenance and security;
Conducting ship discharge operations;
Liaison and provision of assistance to customers as required;
Acting as a coach and mentor to direct reports and being a role model for company values;
Ensuring the maintenance of a well-developed risk management system within the terminal;
Contributing towards the development of new business initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE:

A degree/diploma in Mechanical or electrical engineering or other relevant discipline;
2 – 3 years plus experience in a similar position in an Energy or Energy related industry;
Experience with Permit to Work Systems;
Knowledge of Terminal Operations, bulk storage tanks and road tanker operations;
Knowledge of ship discharge operations would be an added advantage.
