CLEANER – Paradise Beverages

We are looking for “Cleaner” (x2) that will be reporting directly into the Manager – Facilities & Security and will be based at either our Fiji Brewery, Walu Bay, Suva or RCF Distillery, Lautoka. The Cleaner is responsible for cleaning the workspaces and performing other related duties to promote a
tidy environment for all. The primary goal of this role is to create the most welcoming environment for employees and boost the productivity and efficiency of the business as a whole. The role is responsible for the general cleaning of our building premises and keeping it maintained and in good condition.

Key aspects of this role include;

o Ensure that designated areas are cleaned (Sweeping, Mopping, Vacuuming, Dusting & Wiping down of the respective areas, removal & replacing of rubbish bags in bins provided, also wiping down of windows & tables.
o Overseeing the upkeep and maintenance of all cleaning equipment and supplies, and products.
o Reporting repairs and replacements that are required when encountered while cleaning.
o Always be available and attend any meeting, training & development conducted by the business as part of team cohesiveness and capacity building
o Must demonstrate willingness to upgrade/develop skills and apply them to any task and/or area assigned to by superiors
o Must have the flexibility to perform any other task assigned by Superiors as and when required.
o This is a mentally and physically intensive “hands-on” position that requires exceptional motivation and excellent professionalism in the face of a demanding and fast-paced environment.
o Be safety-minded, efficient, quality-focused, creative, have a great work ethic and attendance record, a positive attitude, adaptable/flexible and dedicated to being a great team member.

Career Experience and Qualification

Ideally, you will have:
– Secondary level education – Form 6 pass a must
– Proven experience in a similar role
– A good command of verbal and written English communication
– Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery during cleaning
– Adequate knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
– Ability to work at both team and independent levels
– Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
– Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, public holidays, early mornings and/or evenings
– Ability to work long hours.
