We have our own natural water spring and waterfall on property, and extensive relationships with the local villages of Kadavu.

The Position:
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager or Caretaker (either an individual or a couple) to oversee the day-to-day operations of running Papageno Resort.
This is an incredible opportunity for a rising hospitality leader or couple looking to make their mark on a unique property.
Core Responsibilities:
Recruit, train, and empower a team of hospitality professionals, promoting collaboration and high standards.
Ensure smooth daily operations and proactively address any issues that impact the guest experience.
Manage all resort bookings
Develop and execute marketing and advertising strategies to attract eco-conscious travelers on a mid-range budget, including utilizing travel advertising and social media platforms, to increase visibility and awareness of the Resort.
Implement sustainable policies that reduce environmental impact and promote Fijian culture.
Optimize financial performance through prudent budget management and revenue expansion initiatives.
Build partnerships with local vendors, artisans, and communities to support sustainable tourism.
Uphold safety and compliance with all regulations and standards.
Requirements:
At least 3 years management experience in the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building abilities.
Passion for sustainable tourism and familiarity with Fijian culture.
Budget management skills.
Comfort and capacity with off-grid resort operations is a must.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits in a breathtaking Fijian setting.
Salary: $60,000 – $65,000 USD depending on experience
