JOB DESCRIPTION & SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Carpenters Shipping is a well-established shipping & forwarding Agency and heavy transport and logistics business. We are seeking to employ experienced and proactive individual to supervise the transport and waste disposal department for Carpenters Shipping in Lautoka.

Key Duties:

Develop and execute smart planning to ensure effective completion of operations for the day.
Managing and supervising team capabilities, perform quality control check and monitor KPI’s.
Cater to client’s need and should be able to handle and resolve client’s concerns and queries. Should be capable to deal with B2B, B2I, B2G, discuss and resolve concerns with drivers etc.
Allocate fleet to ensure timely and effective delivery of cargo to clients.
Ensure all staff are compliant with ISO 9001-2015 procedures and OHS regulations as per Ministry of Labour.
Ensure drivers are fully compliant as per various authorities’ requirements.

Requirements:

Successful completion of Form 7/Year 13
3 -5 years of experience in a similar role
Must be well-versed with motor vehicle mechanical process, management and sales.
Proficient supervisory skills.
Honest, hardworking, dependable, reliable, detail oriented with good organizing skills.
A clean and valid driving license.
