Lift Service Technician
$15.00 – $20.00 hourly

Service technician required in Fiji for a national Lift company. Training provided but a current Electrical licence and lift experience essential

About our client

This international lift company continues to go from strength to strength with a national head count of over 1000 and growing. The company is one of the largest suppliers of new elevators, escalators and moving walkways in Australia and have an excellent reputation for providing cutting edge technology and advancements in their field and are growing their client base in New Zealand and Fiji.

Key responsibilities
• Responsible for minimizing breakdowns
• Look after a large number of customers servicing, preventative maintenance work, ensuring that all elevators & escalators running smoothly
• Conduct repair work to restore elevators/escalator to full service
• Trouble shoot technical faults and maintenance
• Ensure the best service and quality maintenance of our customer’s lifts and minimizing service callbacks
• Follow established company procedures during shut down of elevators or escalators so the equipment can be safely repaired or Serviced
• Make recommendations for new parts/upgrades where it is felt the performance of the escalator or elevators can be improved
• Participate in after hour on-call roster (as required) for emergency call outs
• Travel in & out of the region and able to work unsupervised. Most of the work will be carried out in Suva and Nadi but you will be required to travel around the Island and other islands from time to time
• Maintain company tools, equipment and material in good order and safeguard such property

About you
• Electrical Workers License
• Experience in people management
• Current driver’s license and own vehicle
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to deal with and influence both internal and external customers and to be able to work autonomously
• Lift experience

You must have the right to work in Fiji and relocate to Fiji. Ideally we want this person to start as soon as possible but will wait for the right candidate.
