WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT – CJ Patel

Viti Foods Pte Limited is a subsidiary of CJ Patel Group of Companies and we specialize in manufacturing canned tuna and mackerel products for local and export markets. We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Warehouse Assistant to be based at our manufacturing plant in Laucala Beach Estate, Suva.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain stock accuracy by ensuring physical stock is in line with the inventory management system.
Ensure timely & accurate stock movement, receipting and system entries.
Manage & monitor storage and damaged stocks.
Ensure accuracy and timely recording of goods received
Coordinate with stock controller and manage the dispatch of inventory and adhereance to internal processes
Assist with daily and monthly stocktakes.

Position Requirements:

At least 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar role preferably within a manufacturing plant
Ability to operate a forklift
Must be computer literate and have strong attention to detail and microsoft excel knowledge
Physically fit and ability to carry out manual handling
Ability to work under minimum supervision and have strong work ethics
