Supply Chain Manager

Electomech Pte Limited is a leading Manufacturer, Wholesaler and retailer for a wide range of products in Fiji and the Pacific Islands, is seeking to recruit a Supply Chain Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the supply chain, from procurement and production to distribution.
The successful candidate will develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance.

Core responsibilities for the job will include

• Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with organizational goals.
•Collaborate with key stakeholders to forecast demand, identify market trend: and plan for future growth.
• Lead procurement efforts to ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of raw materials and components.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers, monitor supplier performance, and manage relationships.
•Oversee inventory levels, balancing the need for product availability with the goal of minimizing holding costs.
• Implement inventory control measures to reduce stakeouts and excess inventory.
• Utilize technology and data analytics to optimize inventory planning.
•Manage the transportation and distribution of products to ensure on-time delivery.
•Collaborate with third-party logistics providers to streamline operations.
•Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.

Our preferred qualifications, attributes and experience

♦Bachelor’s degree in Management, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in supply chain management or a related role.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing successful supply chain strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in supply chain management software and SAP ERP systems.
