FINANCE OFFICER – CJ Patel Southern Cross Foods Limited

JOB DESCRIPTION & SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Southern Cross Foods Pte Limited is a food manufacturing entity of CJ Patel Group of Companies. We specialise in production of noodles, extruded snacks and confectionery for Fiji and International markets and a co-manufacturer for Nestle. We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Finance Officer (Receivables) to be part of the Finance Team based at our Factory in Ba.

Key Responsibilities:

Process customer invoices/receipts and capture into the system ensuring statements are forwarded to Debtors in a timely manner.
Review and carry our data entry for daily shop orders (raw materials and Finished goods) and ensure variances are analyzed and reconciled.
Carry out costing for all raw and packing materials as it reaches site.
Compilation of weekly fixed cost report with major variance explanations.
Capture journal entries accurately in Syspro system.
Maintain fixed assets register accurately, ensuring assets are tagged and cycle counts performed monthly.
Reconciliation of scrap generation and scrap sales collection.
Carry out monthly intercompany reconciliations.
Ensure adherence to all internal control and finance related policies.

Essential Requirements:

Demonstrated experience in an accounts receivable role or similar.
Well-developed computer skills in the area of computerized accounting
systems, spread sheets and other Microsoft office applications.
Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels and build good relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Analytical thinking ability, accurate data entry skills and strong attention to detail.
