JOB DESCRIPTION & SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Viti Foods Pte Limited is a subsidiary of CJ Patel Group of Companies and we specialize in manufacturing canned tuna and mackerel products for local and export markets. We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Stock Clerk to be based in our Engineering Department at Laucala Beach Estate, Suva.

Job Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain engineering stock inventory levels and process and track orders as required.
Receive, verify and records incoming and outgoing stocks manually and ensuring system update.
Maintain good housekeeping of the maintenance workshop/storeroom ensuring proper labels and storage.
Perform physical count of inventory and reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
Perform routine clerical duties including data entry and filing of maintenance and engineering records.
Prepare weekly and monthly stock reports and refine processes as needed.
Assist Engineering Supervisor with formulation of weekly/monthly maintenance work schedule and ensure all required parts and materials are made available maintenance work.
Prepare preventative maintenance plan and ensure asset history is updated on tracker.
Liaise with Production team to confirm maintenance schedule and machine availability.
Ensure spare parts availability for planned maintenance.
Plan Instrument calibration and ensure checklist for new machines are precise.

Essential Requirements:

Degree/Diploma in Engineering with at least two years of work experience in a similar role.
Working knowledge within engineering/maintenance department and manufacturing industry.
Hands on experience and knowledge about preventative maintenance planning.
Computer literate with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Able to deliver effective results and targets under strict deadlines.
A valid Group 2 driving license (manual). Having a group 9 license would be an advantage but not necessary.
Strong teamwork, interpersonal and organizational skills.
