TRAVEL/RESERVATIONS SPECIALIST – Paradise Cove Resort

Goolma Ltd which operates Paradise Cove Resort, Blue Lagoon Beach Resort & Octopus Resort is looking for suitably qualified applicants with a passion for tourism and guest satisfaction for the following role.

TRAVEL/RESERVATIONS SPECIALIST

The role involves working with clients on a ‘one on one’ basis to create their memorable holiday to the South Pacific…. Fiji, Rarotonga, Vanuatu they name it, we can take them there!

You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service for every guest, every time.
Working in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking and a good eye for detail is necessary
Be responsible for the accurate recording and processing of reservations
Maximise room sales through proactive selling techniques
Provide prompt and efficient service

To be successful in this role:

Must have previous experience in PMS & CRS systems
Must have worked in the Travel Industry or a similar role before
Must have at least three years experience in a customer service-related role within the hospitality industry or experience in a reservations environment with a Minimum 1 year of experience using an RMS/GDS (Galileo or Similar )
Experience in 3rd party booking engines
Outstanding administrative and organisational skills
Intermediate computer proficiency
Well-presented, organised and calm personality
Be a team player in everything that you do
Fluent English essential, additional languages an advantage
Professional telephone manners and excellent communication skills
Work online and remotely – this role is not face-to-face customer service
