Vuvale Outsourcing in Suva is seeking a Level 2/3 IT Systems Engineer, where you’ll enhance our IT infrastructure through maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team, providing advanced technical support, and driving the efficiency and security of our systems under the guidance of the IT Manager.

In Fiji, we operate a professional purpose fitted work environment in Nabua Suva, with local Human Resources management. You will be a part of the 40 strong Vuvale team, but also part of an overall international team.

DETAILS:
Location: Suva, Fiji
Basis: Permanent Full-time
Roster: Monday to Friday (weekends if needed)

Key Responsibilities

· Offer advanced technical support, resolve escalated issues, and guide Level 1 technicians.

· Perform system maintenance for optimal performance, conduct regular health checks, and update systems to bolster security.

· Assist in managing our IT infrastructure, ensuring robustness in our networks, servers, and storage solutions.

· Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to system strategy reports.

· Champion IT security practices and ensure adherence to compliance standards.

· Collaborate on IT projects, communicate technical guidance effectively, and stay abreast of industry trends.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.

· 2-5 years in IT systems administration, showcasing solid expertise in system support and network management.

· Strong proficiency in Windows/Linux, VMware/Hyper-V, and familiarity with AWS/Azure environments.

· Robust problem-solving skills, with a history of handling complex technical challenges.

· Excellent communication skills, proficiency in English, and the ability to articulate technical details clearly.

· Desirable: Experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, and relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+ / A+ / Server+, Azure Administrator).

Preferred Experience:

Familiarity with Office 365, Azure, Fortinet/Sophos/PfSense, backup systems, and cloud-based telephony.

Proven background in MSP environments, supporting multiple clients, and maintaining high-quality client documentation.
