Eigigu Holdings Corporation (EHC) is a Republic of Nauru State Owned Enterprise registered and based in Nauru. EHC is the holding company and includes subsidiary companies : Eigigu Supermarket, Menen Hotel, Eigigu Enterprises, Eigigu Civic Centre, Eastern Gateway Hotel (Marshall Island)
We are urgently seeking to recruit persons to the three (3) vacant positions of Finance Manager;
1. Finance Manager (3) positions
Key Responsibilities:
– Manage the accounting team and oversee all aspects of the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting.
– Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
– Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and relevant laws and regulations.
– Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to develop and monitor the organization’s budget.
– Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide recommendations to the leadership team to support strategic decision-making.
– Manage the organization’s cash flow and liquidity, ensuring sufficient funds are available to meet operational and strategic needs.
– Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and tax professionals, coordinating the preparation of audit and tax-related documents.
– Assess the financial impact of new initiatives, projects, or business opportunities and provide recommendations.
– Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
– Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and industry best practices, and ensure the organization’s financial practices remain compliant.

Qualifications and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
– Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a finance or accounting management role, preferably in a similar industry.
– Thorough understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal control practices.
– Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
– Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing accounting team.
– Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial information for non-financial stakeholders.
– Proficient in using financial management software, spreadsheet applications, and data analysis tools.
– Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and recommend solutions to complex financial challenges.
– Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
