Industrial and Marine Engineering Pte Limited (IMEL)a division of Carpenters Group of Companies, is seeking applications from interested candidates for the Accounts Payable Officer position to be based in Suva. If you believe you are ready to join our dynamic team we want to hear from you.

Key Duties:

Process and verify vendor invoices
Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents
Prepare and process payment runs
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Maintain accurate records and filing systems
Assist with month-end closing procedures
Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain good relationships
Assist with audits and financial reports as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or similar role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
