Urgently requires qualified personnel with 3-5 years experience in the following trades for our current projects
welder

Job Summary

The welder is responsible for joining metal parts together using various welding techniques and equipment. The welder must be able to read blueprints, follow detailed instructions, and produce high-quality, structurally sound welds.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

– Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, and specifications
– Set up and operate welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, stick, and/or flux-core welders
– Perform various welding processes including fillet, groove, and spot welds
– Prepare workpieces by cleaning, shaping, and aligning parts
– Inspect completed welds for defects and rework as needed
– Maintain welding equipment and replenish consumables
– Document work activities and maintain accurate records
– Adhere to all safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
– Collaborate with other team members to ensure project completion

Qualifications

– High school diploma or equivalent
– Formal welding training or certification (e.g., AWS, ASME)
– 2+ years of experience as a welder in a manufacturing or fabrication setting
– Proficiency in various welding processes (MIG, TIG, stick, flux-core)
– Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints and specifications
– Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
– Dexterity and physical stamina to perform welding tasks
– Knowledge of welding safety protocols and use of PPE
