With the head office in Suva, CJ Patel Group has extended manufacturing, sales, distribution, and service businesses in Fiji with renowned brands and products and significant exports to a number of countries.

The Group is seeking to recruit an experienced and suitably qualified Internal Auditor to be based at our Head Office in Lami.

Responsibilities:

Carry out audits of the assigned Group entities as per audit plan and scope.
Assess current business practices against documented policies, procedures and regulatory compliance.
Identify potential areas of revenue leakage, cost efficiencies and process improvements through concise audit points.
Appraise the reliability and operation of the accounting, financial and reporting systems.
Perform audits through examination of records, data analytics and interviews with staff.
Participate as necessary in the review of control aspects of the IT systems and systems revision before they are implemented.
Perform follow-up audits to ascertain whether appropriate action is taken on significant audit findings.
Conduct ad hoc investigations into identified or reported risks.
Prepare audit reports and Communicate audit findings with precise recommendations.

Qualification, Skills and Experience:

Degree or higher qualification in Accounting and Finance
Minimum 4 years of experience in internal audit.
Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent documentation, communication and IT skills.

Remuneration:

An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate to commensurate with qualification and experience.
