Carptrac, the Caterpillar Distributor in the Fiji Market has an excellent opportunity available for suitably qualified and experienced person for the role of National Sales Manager – Power Generation Sales to be part of our Caterpillar team based at 1 Carpenter Street, Raiwai Suva.

Develop and execute the national sales strategy for Caterpillar generators and machinery, with a focus on revenue and market share growth.
Analyse market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive activities to refine the sales approach.
Create annual sales budgets and forecasts specific to Caterpillar products.
Recruit, train and mentor a high-performing sales team specialized in Caterpillar products.
Set clear sales objectives and KPIs for the team, regularly monitoring performance and providing feedback.
Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture, emphasizing expertise in Caterpillar offerings.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and distributors in the Caterpillar sector.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
Participate in strategic negotiations and high-value sales deals related to Caterpillar equipment.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Caterpillar generators and machinery including features, benefits and applications.
Ensure the sales team is well-versed in the technical aspects of Caterpillar products.
Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, customer segments, and geographic regions for sales expansion with Caterpillar product portfolio.
Develop go-to-market strategies for new Caterpillar products or territories, including generators and heavy machinery.
Continuously improve the sales process from lead generation to post sales support, tailored to Caterpillar products.
Implement sales automation tools and technologies to streamline operations specific to Caterpillar equipment.
Regularly assess sales performance for Caterpillar products against targets and goals.
Provide detailed sales reports with a specific focus on Caterpillar market insights and competitive analysis to senior management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing or a related field
Minimum 5-8 years of work experience in Power Generation industry or similar field.
Excellence verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with Caterpillar products is an advantage.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellence leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
