Vacancy: 40/2024 Finance Officer – Revenue
The role of the Finance officer is to provide support in various financial management functions, which include general ledger position, closure of month-end accounts, reconciliation and reporting, and customer/vendor account reconciliation.

Key Accountabilities:

• Retail operations management- price changes in POS system, handling retail queries, processing adjustments, user access control and sales reconciliation.
• Inventory Management – perform monthly stock takes for all retail outlets, identify and resolve variances, monitor inventory movement.
• Analyze prepay revenue details, reconciliation and revenue recognition and invoice wholesale customers.
• Project Management- assess requests for customer funded projects, monitor usage against budgets, finalize project closure and revenue recognition based on IFRS 15 standards.
• Ensure that all projects and services are appropriately billed as per the agreed terms in the contract.
• Ensure All assessments and revenue recognition are compliant with relevant IFRS standards.
• Performing ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.

Qualification & Experience:

• Financial Management or relevant field from a recognized University of Tertiary Institute.
• Member of Fiji Institute of Accounts or pursuing to be a member
• Strong communication, presentation, writing skills. Ability to effectively represent Telecom Fiji to all levels of an organization, especially the executive level
• Possesses a winning attitude, good judgment, and team player with a strong sense of integrity and ethics.

Renumeration:

This position will be on contract; an attractive package will be discussed with the successful candidate.
